CHRISTIE WANTS TO INCREASE FINES ON POWER COMPANIES WHO ARE LATE TO RETURN POWER

Ever notice it takes longer than its supposed to get your power back on? Well Gov. Chris Christie wants to ensure that never happens. Christie held a press conference saying he wants to see fines increased from $100 to $25,000 for each day a utility company is late in returning power. The governor said he takes issues of public safety very important and wants to make sure their are no unnecessary delays.
