Governor Christie visited various spots along the Jersey Shore in advance of Memorial Day weekend. Christie on Friday visited Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant Beach and announced that the beaches are in great shape. Christie says tourism is a big fuel to the state’s economy; last year, more than $43 billion was generated by tourism.
