New Jersey Governor Chris Christie held a press conference on Friday and and slapped democratic lawmakers by vetoing a stack of bills designed to generate jobs in the Garden State. Christie told reporters that the bills proposed by the democrats were nothing more than “political games”. Senate President Steve Sweeney, a democrat, opposes the vetoes and says there may be some veto overrides planned in the New Jersey legislature. This sets the stage for what could be a very contentious state budget address to be delivered by Christie on Tuesday.
