CHRISTIE TWEAKS BILL MAKING NEW STATE WORKERS LIVE IN NEW JERSEY

Legislation to make newly hired state workers live in-state was mostly accepted by Gov. Chris Christie. He conditionally vetoed the bill with two minor changes. Christie wants the committee deciding exemptions to move from three to five people, and for the bill to be put into place after four months of passing, rather than immediate. When reached for comment the main bill sponsors said the changes were reasonable.
