Gov. Chris Christie is trying to take his low approval numbers and make it a positive. Christie told voters in Iowa on Tuesday that his low poll numbers show he isn’t afraid of upsetting people and you can trust him to make the those tough decisions. The governor, who once had approval ratings at 70 percent, now has approval ratings at 33 percent in New Jersey. Most pollsters say that Christie’s time out of the state has had the biggest impact on his sagging numbers.
