The Associated Press reports that Christie gave an interview today and announced that he would like to bring the income tax rate down within two years to stimulate the economy. Christie says Pennsylvania has a top margin of three percent, while New Jersey’s top margin stands at nine percent. Tax collections for two months that ended on August 31st fell below the state’s expectations.
