New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is slamming Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto over a lack of legislation designed to assist Atlantic City. Christie says the city is days away from running out of money and “he’s done his job” by telling lawmakers the content of legislation he would sign to help the resort. Prieto has resisted legislation presented by the New Jersey Senate and called off a recent vote on his own legislation, knowing it would never be approved by the upper chamber of the legislature.
