Legislation to help low income workers are signed into law on Tuesday. Gov. Chris Christie signed a bill to increase a tax credit for those workers by 50 percent. The measure will help roughly 500,000 people in the state. Christie had cut the credit back in 2010 when the economy was in a downturn. The Governor noted he wished he could cut taxes for everyone but this was the first step he could use.
