A set of education bills sponsored by Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi were signed into law by Gov. Chris Christie. The measures were aimed to help high school graduates obtain jobs through improved career development programs and improved monitoring of a student’s progress in the classroom. Among of the four bill package included a bill that requires schools to include evaluation of student career readiness on report cards to help prepare them for real-world jobs. The other bills also assisted vo-tech schools assist with career preparedness for its students.
