New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is encouraging businesses wiped out by last week’s boardwalk fire in Seaside Park to apply for Sandy relief funds. Christie says since the fire was ruled accidental caused by salt water intrusion onto electrical wires, the businesses are eligible for hurricane relief aid. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has also set aside $15 million in state aid for businesses impacted by the fire.
