CHRISTIE SAYS WASHINGTON IS A “FAILURE” IF GOVERNMENT SHUTTERS

Never one to mince words, Gov. Chris Christie shared his thoughts on lawmakers in Washington D.C. Christie said it was “a failure of everyone responsible for the system,” to allow the government to shut down. The governor said everyone shares the blame, but noted President Barack Obama should do a better job of leadership and should have locked the major party leaders in a room until it was fixed. He also touted the bipartisanship that has been displayed in New Jersey as a model for Washington D.C.
