A compromise can be found on tax cut plans, but not with the one put out by the Assembly. Gov. Chris Christie said he was willing to compromise with Senate President Steve Sweeney on his tax cut plan. The Assembly plan included a tax increase on the rich. Sweeney’s plan called for more of a tax break to the middle class and no change to the richest in the state. Christie said he was happy to be talking about how to cut taxes and is willing to have that discussion.
