Gov. Chris Christie is campaigning hard ahead of the school budget votes next week. Christie is telling state residents that if teachers in their district have not accepted a wage freeze, then they shouldn’t vote yes on the budget. The issue between teachers and Christie came to headline news when a memo became public last week that wished for the death of Christie. The New Jersey Education Association met with Christie on Monday and apologized for the note. Christie asked for the President of the Bergen County Education Association, Joe Coppola, to be removed, but the NJEA would not go that far.
