CHRISTIE RESPONDS TO BEING CALLED A "LIAR" BY NJEA PRESIDENT

Gov. Chris Christie shot back on Monday at New Jersey Education Association President Barbara Keshishian, who wrote an op-ed piece in the Star-Ledger, which called Christie a “liar.” She cited a promise that Christie made during his campaign to not raid pension funds. Christie said any changes made to benefits and pensions were for new hires and not existing ones. He also said more changes could be coming, but it would need the support of the legislature.
