Gov. Chris Christie has been promoting the Jersey Shore this week in the lead up to Labor Day. The governor visited North Wildwood on Tuesday at Surfside Pier on Morey’s Piers. Christie was asked about the ads promoting the Jersey Shore, the governor said it was never meant to make everyone believe that everything is perfect, but that the shore is doing fine this year. Christie noted that most people wouldn’t have expected tourism to be as good as it was this year in November last year.
