Every school district in Cape May County and the rest of the state will be getting more money in state aid under a new plan unveiled by Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday. The Christie administration announced that $850 million in new school aid will be available to school districts for the Fiscal Year 2012 budget. Both the Middle Township and Ocean City school districts will each receive well in excess of $800,000 in school aid. The Upper Township School District is slated to get an additional $691,000 in school aid as well.
