Your local police department may soon be equipped with body cameras, thanks to funding provided this week by the Christie administration. Christie has pledged $4 million to police departments throughout the state to get geared up with the state of the art body cameras. 1,000 state troopers will get the body cameras, along with cops in some municipal police departments.
