New Jersey Governor Chris Christie believes 95 percent of North Jersey residents will have power restored by midnight tonight. A snowstorm that blew into the state last weekend knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of customers in the northern section of the state. Christie told reporters today that he was assured by two major power companies that 95 percent of those who lost power will have it by midnight. He also warned residents from harrassing power company workers, saying they didn’t ask for the storm to come.
