Gov. Chris Christie’s time as head of the Republican Governor’s Association has come to a close. Christie raised $117 million for the organization and the number of Republican governor’s during his time increased from 29 to 31. Christie may be moving on to running for president now, as he has formed a political action committee, which is the first step candidates take before announcing candidacy.
