CHRISTIE HAS MAJORITY OF STATE’S SUPPORT

A new poll shows Gov. Chris Christie has a majority for support from the state residents for the first time. The Quinnipiac University poll says that Christie has support from 51 percent of the state, while 36 percent disapprove. The results were less stellar for President Barack Obama. Among New Jersey residents, Obama had a 47 percent approval and 47 percent disapproval rating.
