Gov. Chris Christie is making a lot of hard decisions. One thing he will not do is reinstate the Millionaire’s Tax. The surcharge was placed on those people who were in the top one percent of the state’s earners. Christie told Coastal Broadcasting in an interview this week, that the tax hurt small business as well, and is concerned about creating jobs. He believes if the tax is put in place, even more people will remain out of work. The tax was put in place under Gov. Jon Corzine and expired before the end of Corzine’s term. State Senator Jeff Van Drew is among the Democrats pushing for this tax to be put back in place.
