New Jersey Governor Chris Christie handed out grant funding to save historical sites and structures throughout the state, and two local projects are getting funding. According to the Governor’s office, both the Ocean City Lifesaving Station and Hanger Number One at the Cape May Airport in Lower Township will be getting grant funding. The Ocean City project will get over $750,000 in funding. Many other projects throughout the state have received funding, but these are the only two projects getting local dollars.
