Gov. Chris Christie continued his tour to get residents to support his proposed school funding plan. The current formula sends money to all districts, but more goes to low-income families. Christie’s plan would give the same funding to every district, $6,599 per student. This would provide property tax reduction to 75 percent of the state, but the remaining would have huge budget holes to fill.
