CHRISTIE BLAMED MEDIA FOR FLAP WITH NJEA

Gov. Chris Christie hit the town hall circuit on Wednesday and took aim at the media for a major issue with the New Jersey Education Association this week. A report came out that a new pension deal was imminent with the NJEA and Gov. Chris Christie. This turned out to not be true, but Christie took aim at the media for the problem. Christie has been calling for more union givebacks as the state continues to address the problem of an underfunded pension.
