CHRISTIE AVOIDS PRESS ON FIRST DAY BACK IN TRENTON

Gov. Chris Christie’s trip to London was supposed to show him as someone that can work on diplomacy issues. Instead it became what he said about vaccinations that stole the headlines. Generally, the governor would brief the press following a trip out of the country on his return. Instead, Christie stayed in his office and did not speak with reporters. Many call the trip a failure because what Christie was trying to do got lost in the comments about vaccinations.
