New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has spent over $800,000 in federal grants on three large trucks that will feed people during storms or other emergencies in the Garden State. The Asbury Park Press reports that the tree trucks would be operated by the Salvation Army and could serve 30,000 hot meals a day after a an emergency. The meals could be served within four hours of arrival to a disaster site in the Garden State.
