CHRISTIE A TOP CHOICE IN POLLS TO BECOME VICE-PRESIDENT

Let the speculation begin. Gov. Chris Christie is getting mentions in national polls as a possible running mate for Mitt Romney. The Quinnipiac University and Public Policy Polling polls both had Christie on the top. The Public Policy Poll suggested that Romney would be in a dead heat with President Barack Obama if Christie was on the ticket. Christie has said he was not interested in trying to become vice-president, but has not completely shut the door on the idea.
