A major Atlantic City hotel is no longer staying open for mid-week business in the winter. The Chelsea Hotel has announced its plans to only be open Thursday to Sunday until the spring. The price war, especially for mid-week business, is hampering the hotel’s ability to make money. The Chelsea is not a casino hotel, and therefore do not have the other revenue sources that the casinos have.
