CHARGES OF BULLYING INCREASE 50 PERCENT FOLLOWING TOUGHER STANDARDS

New standards in student behavior has yielded some results. The Department of Education has announced that there was a 50 percent increase in cases of bullying in the past year. The state recently passed a law that made New Jersey have one of the toughest stances on student behavior. The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act was passed after Rutgers student Tyler Clementi killed himself after an act of intimidation.
