Police say a drunk driver hit an ambulance as it was making a left hand turn to assist with a medical call on Wednesday. John Williams, of Millville, was charged in the incident. He was charged with drunk driving, careless driving, reckless driving, passing an emergency vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident. The two EMT’s in the ambulance were said to have minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
