CHANGE OF HEART: NEW LAW WOULD REQUIRE PARENTAL NOTIFICATION FOR WEED, ALCOHOL

A new law may be signed by the Governor that reverse the State Legislature’s position and require police to notify parents every time minors are caught with pot or alcohol.  A previous bill would prevent parental notification on a first offense.  Lawmakers appear to be in favor of a three time warning system.
