Voters in Wildwood can change their form of government. A vote is being taken today that would allow for the government to move from a three to a five person government. The move would make it a council-manager form of government, where the manager is given strong power, including the power to hire and fire department heads. The election of the five council members would be at-large, and council would elect the mayor. The mayor would have no additional powers over other members of council. Voters can vote “no” as well to keep the same, commission form of government.
