Jeff Bell criticized the U.S. Supreme Court for allowing lower court rulings to stand allowing gay marriage in the country. Bell is challenging U.S. Senator Cory Booker in his reelection campaign; Booker is a strong supporter for gay marriage. This is an issue Bell likely won’t win in the state, as 64 percent of state residents support making gay marriage legal in the entire country according to a Rutgers-Eagleton poll from earlier this year.
