CERF FINALLY CONFIRMED AS EDUCATION COMMISSIONER

Christopher Cerf has finally been confirmed by the New Jersey Senate as the new education commissioner for the state.  The Senate voted 28-0 today to finally confirm Cerf to the job; he’s been acting as education commissioner for the past year and a half.  His residency came into question during confirmation hearings.  Cerf had worked as a law clerk for former United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Conner.
