CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF DREAM ACT TAKES PLACE

Gov. Chris Christie ceremonially signed the DREAM Act into law on Tuesday. The legislation provides in-state tuition rates for illegal immigrants. Lawmakers felt it was wrong to have these children in public schools until high school and then not provide the chance for them to go to college at the lower rate. The press conference was moved from Monday to ensure everyone who was involved in the legislation could be there for the signing.
