Despite unseasonably cold weather, hundreds of Atlantic City casino workers plan to rally on the Boardwalk Wednesday night. Members of Local 54 plan to march from the Taj Mahal to the Tropicana, in protest of the planned closing of the Taj Mahal on December 12th. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn owns the Tropicana but plans to invest in the Taj Mahal in addition to union concessions and state aid to keep the struggling casino afloat.
