The news in gambling is mostly bad for Atlantic City. The casinos were down almost 25 percent for the third quarter, but nongambling revenue, such as food, and hotel stays were up. The bottom casinos, Atlantic City Hilton, Resorts, and Trump Marina, all continued to show sharp declines. The Hilton and Resorts have both had well publicized financial issues.
