CASINO LICENSE WAREHOUSING BILL APPROVED BY SENATE

It may become much more difficult for the Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City to re-open without union membership.  The New Jersey Senate approved a bill before the weekend that would prevent the warehousing of casino licenses in New Jersey.  The bill essentially removes a gaming license from a property after it closes and prevents the property from getting another license for five years.  The bill was approved by a 29-6 vote.
