The major airline out of Atlantic City is going to charge for some carry-on luggage. Spirit Airlines is going to make fliers pay up to $45 for a carry-on bag. If the fee is paid ahead of time, it will cost $30; or $45 at the gate. The new charge will be added to bags that are placed in the overhead bin. Bags that fit under the seat in front of the person are still free. The airline says it has a fare reduction going into place and most fliers will not see a major change in what they pay to fly.
