CARJACKERS STEAL MERCEDES FROM 70 YEAR-OLD MAN

Absecon police reported an armed carjacking and assault of a 70-year-old man Tuesday night at about 6:45 p.m. The attack occurred in the parking lot of the Executive Lodge on Route 30, as a suspect armed with a handgun approached a 1998 Mercedes Benz. The male driver was assaulted by one of three black male suspects. The men, estimated to be in their mid 30’s, drove away in the maroon Mercedes model 430, heading west on Absecon Boulevard. Absecon police released a picture of one of the suspects, who is about six feet tall and 180 pounds with light facial hair.
