New Jersey State Police say a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman from Lower Township hit a utility pole and burst into flames on Route 347 early Sunday morning. Police say the driver of the car was 39-year old Kimberly Palmer, of North Cape May. Palmer’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole in Eldora, Dennis Township before sunup on Sunday. Palmer was airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden as a precaution; she was later released from the hospital. No word yet on the cause of Sunday’s crash.
