Cape Medical Center is asking for the public to reach out to New Jersey’s two United States senators to get some federal funding for the hospital. The Center issued a press release saying the hospital has been left out of the distribution of funding and dollars are needed to make up for the shortfall of revenue since elective surgeries and other non-emergency procedures have been cancelled. The hospital has been treating Covid-19 patients, but have not hit the numbers threshold to earn the federal funding.
