Two bond referendums were approved by voters Tuesday night for Lower Township schools. Voters approved the Lower Cape May Regional School District to appropriate $6.3 million in bonds to fund various improvements at the Teitelman Middle School and the Lower Cape May Regional High School. Residents also voted “Yes” for the Lower Township Board of Education to appropriate $5.1 million for various improvements and renovations to the Maud Abrams Elementary School, the Carl T. Mitnick Elementary School and the Charles Sandman Elementary School. Both public questions were approved by about 60 percent of the voters.
