CAPE MAY TO NAME BEACH AFTER LIFEGUARD KILLED IN LINE OF DUTY

Cape May will be naming a city beach after a 16 year old lifeguard who lost his life in the line of duty last week.  Norman Inferrera III lost his life after his boat overturned while he was attempting to keep swimmers closer to shore.  Inferrera’s aunt wrote on social media that the Beach Patrol will name a beach after Norman.  A Go Fund me page was established where nearly $150,000 was raised for the family.
