Cape May residents can share their views on a proposed budget this week. A public hearing and final budget vote could come on Tuesday, when council will consider the spending plan. It calls for a 1.1 cent tax increase. The city is within the two percent cap and will include a new feature, a tourism utility. The utility will be funded by the events at the Convention Hall, with the goal of taking tourism related expenses and having those that use those services pay for them. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
