Cape May’s City Council will hold a special meeting this week to fill the council seat that used to belong to Jerry Inderweis Jr. Cape May officials say the meeting will be held at 1pm at City Hall and each member of Council has been asked to come up with a candidate who could fill the seat until the November election. Inderweis resigned after serving just a couple of months on the job after Council had a highly publicized argument over the fate of former police chief Robert Sheehan.
