There is a new head basketball coach at Cape May Tech. The school promoted from within and Josh Mercado is the new head coach, according to shorenewstoday.com. He takes over the program that was led by Jim Ridgeway for the past 16 seasons. Mercado graduated Lower Cape May Regional in 2003. He teaches history and psychology at Cape May Tech as well according to the report.
