The Cape May Police Department is proud to announce it will be expanding the scope of “Operation Reassurance”. This voluntary program was originally intended to assist the elderly and special needs population in the community by maintaining communication through daily check-ins. This service will now be made available to victims of domestic violence and stalking. For the sake of safety and confidentially, the exact details of the program will not be publicly revealed, but will include specific plans to monitor the safety of domestic violence and stalking victims. On a case by case basis, each victim will receive special consideration to address their specific needs and concerns.
