Credit card data going back one full year has been compromised within the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. The ferry announced that food, beverage, and retail purchase information during that time has been compromised and may be at risk. While they don’t know whether anyone’s information was stolen, they are offering free credit monitoring to those that made credit purchases from Sept. 20, 2013 to Aug. 7, 2014. A hotline was established to help any customers who might need it at 1-855-865-4457. According to the press release, the ferry was first notified about the potential security breach back on July 30.
