The Grand opening of the Cape May County Observation Bee Hive, donated by the NJ Bee Keepers Association, is scheduled for this Friday at 11 a.m. The new exhibit will be housed at the Aviary at the Cape May County Zoo. The observation bee hive is designed to allow visitors to view the activities of bees behind a glass structure. Freeholder E. Marie Hayes will officiate the ribbon cutting along with members of the NJ Beekeepers Association and Zoo Director Dr. Herbert Paluch. The public is invited to attend the grand opening and visit the observation bee hive to learn more about the thousands of bees and wasps that are native to North America.
